Tape Positioning Functions (option 4.15)

When you select Tape Positioning Functions, the Tape Positioning Functions menu shown in Figure 1 is displayed.

The Tape Positioning Functions menu allows you to select one of the options shown below. For further information, refer to the online help or the Z Data Tools option indicated.
Note: To correctly position a tape, you should know the format of the tape. Refer to z/OS DFSMS: Using Magnetic Tapes.
